The Balkan Winter Championship started in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team also participated in the competition organized among athletes under 20 years of age.
Ilaha Guliyeva (400 m, running), Murad Babazade (60 m, running), Mehri Nadirova and Huseyn Abbasov (both long jump) will be on the starting line under the leadership of the team's coach Valentin Bulichev.
It should be noted that more than 200 athletes from 16 countries are competing in the championship.
