He said that it was the first time he ran such a long distance: "Even though it is difficult, it is a proud feeling. I am very happy."
It should be noted that the first stage ended in Yevlakh. The participants completed a distance of 83 km.
In the race, which will last until March 4, the athletes will reach the finish line in Baku after covering 380 km. In the following days, they will reach the capital by passing the Yevlax - Ujar (84 km), Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages.
