Azerbaijani athlete secures spot at European Championship

Azerbaijani athlete Rustam Mammadov has earned a qualification for the European Championship.

The reigning Balkan champion in triple jump has secured his place in the continental tournament, Idman.biz reports.

Mammadov will compete in the championship, set to take place from March 6 to 9, in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, where he will contend for medals.
