The last Azerbaijani played in Qarabag: "I haven't been to these lands for more than 35 years"
Munis Abdullayev, a former football player of Khankendi's Qarabag club, told Idman.biz.
The 58-year-old specialist will be at work again in his native stadium within the 1/8 finals of the Azerbaijan Cup. He will not play football this time, he will be the referee-inspector in the match between Qarabag and MOIK (Central Military Sports Committee).
Abdullayev said that he cannot express the return of Azerbaijani teams to the Khankendi stadium in any words: "We are in our native land, in our native land. I am currently in Shusha, so far I have not been able to explore the city well. But we are ready to step here. Tomorrow, I will proudly visit our native stadium, the square and all the places I know."
According to the last Azerbaijani who played in Khankendi Qarabag, on December 21, the fans are waiting for a very interesting match: "Because in the first match to be held in Khankendi stadium after the liberation of the occupation, Qarabag and MOIK consisting of our soldiers will appear.
