"He didn't let me go to practice, he said you should take a stroll the stadium" – Mirzov's conflict with the head coach

"In April 2022, I was not allowed to play with MOIK because I opposed Yuran's decision to include Ilya Sadygov in the main team."

Idman.biz reports that Reziuan Mirzov, the Russian football player of "Neftchi", told the local media about the conflict between him and the head coach of the club, Sergei Yuran, while playing in "Khimki".

According to the left midfielder, the coach was not satisfied with that: "A few days before the game with MOIK, we played football with small gates in training. My side was losing. We conceded another goal, I had no chance to interfere with the ball. I got angry and kicked the doorpost. Yuran lost his temper because of this and kicked me out of training."

Mirzov said that he did not even think of apologizing to Yuran for this action. He added that such situations are normal in training: "Each football player has such emotions. The next day, when he came to training, Yuran said that you will not train, you should run around the stadium. I said, ok, no problem."
The 30-year-old international emphasized that he was excluded from training for 3 days before the match with MOIK and was not included in the main squad. However, he said that he had a normal relationship with Sadygov: "As for Ilya, I had no objection to him in this situation. There was no personal grudge between us. It's just that we performed well at that time, we won against "Ural" and "Rubin" on the road. Unexpectedly, the staff changed with MOIK, everyone had a question: Why did this happen? As a result, everything gradually went out of its way."

It should be noted that in September 2023, Mirzov signed a contract with Baku's "Neftchi" club as a free agent. He made 1 assist in 10 matches he played in Azerbaijan.
