Azerbaijan national football player Ramil Sheydayev has entered the history of Turkish club Kocaelispor.
Idman.biz reports that the 28-year-old striker was the most expensive transfer in the history of the club.
The representative of the 1st league paid 800,000 euros to the Thai club Buriram United for his transfer. With this, Ramil became the most expensive transfer of Kocaelispor.
It is true that Kocaelispor has paid the same amount for two players. In the 1996/97 season, he spent 800,000 for Ahmet Dursun, and in the 1997/98 season for Ahmed Hassan. However, taking into account the exchange rate of the euro, the transfer of Ramil went down in history as a new record for the club.
It should be noted that Sheydayev signed a 1.5-year contract with the Turkish club.
