The official of the institution said that the Russian was able to form a good team: "But such things happen in football. It is not always possible to get a good result. Of course, this step was taken for some reasons. He made this decision himself. Of course, the club management also accepted it. Let there be a positive result of this step. Sabah has become a strong team by regaining its image and adding color to the championship. I only wish the team success in their future games."
It should be noted that Musayev worked as the head coach of Sabah in November 2021. The team played 87 games under the leadership of the Russian specialist (48 wins, 16 draws, 23 losses). Sabah finished the 2022/23 national championship season with a silver medal and qualified for the European Cup for the first time in its history.
