Rashad Sadygov: "Draw was equal to gold for us"

"The first half was very difficult for us. Unexpected events happened."

Idman.biz reports that this was said by Rashad Sadygov, the head coach of Zira, which played a draw in the XXV round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.

The young specialist admitted that they won important points in the match against Turan Tovuz: "Actually, we started the game very well. The goal was damaged, we were in the minority on the field. The opponent immediately took advantage of this and got ahead in the score. After that, we were trying to fix the game when Rafael Utzig got injured. We didn't have an offensive player to play. Still, we changed and continued our struggle. Then we were red carded and in the minority. After so many events, we fought well in the second half and won a very important 1 point. Before the game, of course, each of us was determined to win. After the events that happened, equality was equal to gold for us."

Rashad Sadygov highlighted the problems in the attack. He said that the injuries affected the team's game: "They were all more important than each other. There are no players to replace our attackers. After the injuries, our creativity in attack went down. But the opponent probably played more heartily after the red. We were a little demotivated. The last 10 minutes of the first half were very difficult for us. But after the break, the players were more confident. Good opportunities, penalty. We used this and equalized the score. Aykhan Abbasov's team deserves good words."

It should be noted that the match between Zira and Turan Tovuz ended with a score of 1:1.
