The reason why Mahmud Gurbanov, the former football player and head coach of the Azerbaijan national team, plays differently in the national team and in Neftchi has become clear.
This was told by Ramin Musayev, the former president of the PFL, who was a guest of the Idman Bizde program.
He recalled the conversation about this when he was the vice-president of Neftchi: "Once Ramiz Mirzayev asked Mahmud, you play differently in Neftchi and differently in the national team. Mahmud Gurbanov can confirm himself. He said that Mr. Ramiz, when I am in the pitch, when I hear the voice of Mr. Ramin, I get extra strength. He also jokingly said that we should bring Ramin as head coach to the national team.
It should be noted that Musayev was the president of PFL in 2008-22.
