The new AFFA president was elected today.
Idman.biz reports that the new head of the institution was announced at the Next AFFA Report-Election Conference.
At the event, the SOCAR president, Rovshan Najaf, was elected the head of the association. He was the 4th president in the history of AFFA.
Founded in 1992, the institution was headed by Fuad Musayev (1992-2003), Ramiz Mirzayev (2003-07) and Rovnag Abdullayev (2008-24). In 2007-08, this position was temporarily assigned to Elshad Nasirov.
It should be noted that members of the Executive Committee and vice-presidents will also be elected at the Conference.
