This took place during the fourth round of the Nations League, in the home match against Slovakia (1:3). The 29-year-old midfielder entered the field in the final moments of the game.
Vadim became the 269th player in the 32-year history of our national team. Before this, 268 players had participated in 302 matches.
Abdullayev is also the first player to debut under current head coach Fernando Santos. The Portuguese coach had not given any player their debut in his first three matches.
