An experienced specialist revealed the name of one of the main culprits of the match in which Azerbaijan lost to Belgium 0:5 in the EURO-2024 Qualifiers. He said that the nationalized player of "Neftchi" Eddy Israfilov left the team in the minority and that worked in favor of the opponent: "There is no need to call Eddy Israfilov to the team after that. If a football player plays in the national team, he must show his whole being when he goes on the field. I don't see those feelings in Eddy. It's like they're forcing the game. The team did more harm than good. Belgium is a very strong team. It could have been even more tragic to play against them with 10 people."
It should be noted that Israfilov was punished with a second yellow card in the 24th minute and was removed from the field.
