Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani badminton players Agil Gabilov and Era Maftuha secured silver medals in the competition.
The Agil-Era pair, which started the fight from the 1/16 finals, won 3 consecutive victories in the mixed doubles category and advanced to the finals of the tournament. Our badminton players won the silver medal in the international tournament in both sets (18-21, 17-21) against the pair of Malaysian representatives Ashraf Daniel Zakaria-Lim Xuan in the match for the gold medal.
