Uganda International 2024 was held in Kampala.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team finished the competition with 2 bronze medals.
The team advanced to the semi-finals of the "Uganda International Series 2024" tournament, defeating the opponents representing Uganda, UAE and Maldives. They lost in all 3 sets to Malaysian athlete Loh Zhi Wei, who was the winner of the tournament in one step of the final.
In the men's doubles competition, Agil Gabilov and Dicky Dwi Pangestu managed to eliminate the badminton players representing Malta, Scotland and Italy. Agil and Dicky, who secured the bronze medal by advancing to the semi-finals, lost to their Indian opponents in both sets in the semifinals.
