The young specialist commented on the match in which they defeated Moldova 87:76 in the first game of Division C of the European Championship. He said that the changes had an effect on the result: "Our wish was to play the entire team - all 12 players. Because it is very important for us for every basketball player to appear and gain experience. The rotations were the reason why we fell behind in some episodes. But in the end, I'm glad that we won."
Sariyev also evaluated the match they will play against Armenia: "We are fully ready for this game. The mood in the team is very good. Having won a victory, we will dedicate it to the people of Azerbaijan."
The Azerbaijan-Armenia match in the competition held in Albania will start today at 18:00.
