Sumgayit has signed a one-year contract with Kaelen Malone, a 29-year-old American basketball player standing at 185 cm.
Idman.biz reports that before joining Sumgayit, Malone played for U.S. clubs like Wichita State Shockers and Oral Roberts University, as well as APO Pafos in Cyprus.
Last season, he represented the Slovenian team Terme Olimia.
Sumgayit has already welcomed three other American players: Derick Newton, Jalen Hawkins, and Jalon Clark.
