Idman.biz reports that Sumgayit basketball player Saadettin Donat said this in a statement to the club's press service.
The new transfer of the team announced his expectations for the new season: "We are conducting tactical exercises, the players are trying to get to know each other. Our head coach helps us a lot. We are a new team, there will be others joining our ranks. I think we will get better day by day. We will try our strength in two preparatory games before the start of the championship. We want to take first place in our group and eventually qualify for the playoffs."
Sumgayit will challenge Ordu in the first game of the Azerbaijan Basketball League. The match will be held on October 20.
