As announced today, the men's basketball team of Sabah Club has officially submitted their application for participation in the European Cup.
As reported by Idman.biz, the team, representing Azerbaijan, has enlisted 16 players for the prestigious tournament, as confirmed by FIBA.
Head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis will lead the squad, placing his trust in an array of talented athletes, including Kam'Ron Blue, Klavs Cavars, Aydin Ibrahimov, Tariel Yusifzada, Butjankovs Artjoms, Trevon Duval, Hassani Gravett, Akbar Mammadov, Holton Jr. Mike, Jabrayil Akbarov, DeAndre Williams-Baldwin, Endar Poladkhanli, Voinalovych Andrii, Alikamran Mammadov, Ramiz Guliyev, and Shirzad Shirzadov.
Kurtinaitis will be supported by assistant coaches Aurimas Jasilyonis and Goran Miljevic throughout the campaign.
Sabah’s journey in the European Cup will kick off on October 9, with their first group stage match against Belgian team Spirou.
