- Although the name and staff of the team have changed, you continue with this team as you did last year. Were you able to rest in the summer before the new season?
- Yes, as you said, I extended the contract with Absheron (ex Khirdalan) club for one year. There are many changes in the team this year. I think this will bring us success. After the end of the last season, I rested for a short time and started training again.
- Before the new season, training processes are already underway with the whole team. There is a new coaching staff, in short, a renewed team. What have you been able to observe in a short period of time? Compared to last season, what kind of differences do you feel in the legionnaires who joined the new team?
- It's too early to say anything. We want to be in the best shape at the start of the season. We work hard for this. Compared to last season, I think we will be a better team defensively this year.
- Let's talk about the new regulation and the newly applied limit number. Unlike last year, the fight will continue in two groups, and the legionary limit has been changed to 4+1. How do you think the championship will be more interesting with such regulations and limits?
- Our league is getting better every year. The regulation change will also add more interest to the league. I think it will be interesting for both fans and players.
- How do you think as a local player? This will lead to less chances for Azerbaijani players to get out of shape. Aren't you afraid of that?
- Of course, as an Azerbaijani, I want more local players to be on the floor. Experience gained in games is important. But in any case, I don't mind this limit and competition. In my opinion, on the contrary, in this case, there is an excellent motivation to work hard and reach a good level.
- During this time, which of the American basketball players who were also in the team did you have the closest communication with? In general, when talking as a teammate, how do you feel about this place for a short time?
- There is a good atmosphere in the team now, we have a good relationship with everyone. Because it was a short time, we didn't have much communication outside of training. Although we will not talk in detail about this place, about their impressions, I am sure that they will love Baku very much. It is impossible not to fall in love with this city.
