- How is the team’s overall state before the ABL game with Sarhadchi?
• Our preparations have been going well. We had some extra time to work this week, and thankfully, we have no injured players. We have another practice tonight, and I’m hopeful everything will be in order by game time. Overall, it’s been a positive week for us.
- What do you think of your opponent?
• I consider them one of the strong teams in the league. They have a solid lineup, including capable international players and competitive locals. Their head coach, Evren Alkaya, is one of the most experienced in the championship, with three years of good work here. We respect them as worthy competitors.
- Last week, you mentioned the team isn’t fully prepared yet. What’s changed in the past week?
• In my last statement, I mentioned we would need about three more weeks to be fully prepared; one week has passed. We still have areas that need improvement—not related to the players, but primarily in terms of tactics and technique. Addressing these will take a little more time. The break for COP29 in the championship will work to our advantage, and I believe we’ll be fully ready after that period.
