Speaking about the game against "Nimburk" in the FIBA European Cup, the member of the Latvian national team said that the opponent was in good form. According to him, the match that will take place tomorrow in the Czech Republic will take place in the conditions of intense competition: "The previous matches can be taken easily. "Nymburk" likes to exhibit team play. Physically and athletically, basketball players are very strong. The opponent has a system, an aggressive game and good physical preparation. In principle, I do not believe that they will surprise us. If we take into account that they fight well in the team game, it will be very difficult to play against the Czechs at home."
Butyankovs explained the advantages of "Sabah" as well: "We also have a high level of professionalism. We have basketball players with high individual qualities. We must try to show team play. Although this is often an advantage, it sometimes turns out to be a disadvantage. We can defeat strong teams and lose to weaker ones. If we are careful in the crucial moments, everything will go well. If one of us tries to play individually, then we will have a big problem."
It should be noted that the meeting between "Nymburk" and "Sabah" will be held on November 1 in Prague. The match will start at 21:30 Baku time.
