In an interview, Alberto Blanko, the head coach of the Ordu basketball team, shared his thoughts on the team's performance in the Azerbaijani Basketball League’s regular season and the upcoming match against Guba in the play-in stage, Idman.biz reports.
"We assembled our team in advance and, unlike other clubs, we didn’t make significant changes during the season. There was even a situation where a player we signed left the team just 10 days later, which left us in a tough spot," said Blanko.
Looking ahead to the match against Guba, Blanko added, "It will be an evenly matched game. We have beaten them three times this season, while they’ve won once. It will be a very tough challenge. Our main goal is to secure a spot in the playoffs."
