The Cup of Nations among female boxers will start today in Sombor, Serbia.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team will also try its strength in the international tournament that will last for 6 days.
Marjona Savriyeva (50 kg), Zeynab Rahimova (54 kg), Mahsati Aghamaliyeva-Hamzayeva (57 kg), Shahla Allahverdiyeva (66 kg) and Aynur Rzayeva (81 kg) will compete in the adult competition under the leadership of the team's coach Ilkin Agayev. Banuchichek Nasirli (46 kg, Aynur Mikayilova (54 kg) and Emili Rzayeva (63 kg) will try their strength among juniors.
Mesmakhanim Salimova will represent Azerbaijan in the competition as a judge.
It should be noted that 102 boxers from 10 countries participated in the Cup of Nations.
