He spoke about the Great Silk Way tournament organized at the Boxing Center. Huseynov said that a total of 121 athletes from 11 countries compete in the competition. “After that, we will do our best to turn Baku into a boxing center."
The official of the institution emphasized that this year is the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation: "For this purpose, a series of events are planned in our country. In May, the Heydar Aliyev Tournament among teenagers will be held, and at the end of the year, the tournament dedicated to the memory of Abbas Aghalarov will take place. Boxing nights will be held for the first time in September. This is important in terms of developing boxing and increasing the experience of our athletes."
It should be noted that the Great Silk Way tournament, attended by 121 athletes from 11 countries, will be concluded today.
