The Azerbaijani national team consisting of young boxers will participate in the VIII International Sports Games Children of Asia held in Yakutia, Republic of Sakha.
Idman.biz reports, the coach of the national team, Teymur Mammadov, will give a chance to 8 athletes in the competition.
Among Azerbaijani boxers, Nihat Gasimov (48 kg), Imran Akhundov (50 kg), Bagir Amirkhanli (52 kg), Hagverdi Hasanov (57 kg), Nurlan Abishov (60 kg), Islam Taghiyev (63 kg), Valeh Eyvazli (66 kg) and Muhammed Jafarov (+80 kg) will appear.
International judge Anar Nagdiyev will maintain justice in the tournament.
Boxing competitions will be held in Yakutia from June 29 to July 5.
