The European Championship among junior boxers continues in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As Idman.biz reports, on the fourth day of the competition, 2 more athletes of the Azerbaijan national team won the stage.
Aylin Nazarova (48 kg) met Atina Papanikolopou (Greece) in the 1/4 finals. The fight ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani boxer 5:0 (30:27, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). She will face Italy's Giorgia La Rosa in the semi-finals.
Amina Taghi also successfully completed the 1/4 final stage. She won 5:0 (30:27, 30:25, 30:27, 30:27, 30:26). She will face Romanian Maria Semeniciuc in her next fight.
Both the boxers secured at least a bronze medal by advancing to the semi-finals.
The semifinals of the European championship will be held on June 28.
