Azerbaijan to compete with 13 boxers at World Championship

From October 23 to November 3, the Youth Boxing World Championship will be held in Budva, Montenegro.

According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani national team will participate with 13 athletes.

The coaching staff has selected the following boxers for the tournament:

• Bilalhabashi Nazarov (48 kg)
• Zidan Humbatov (51 kg)
• Omer Aslanli (54 kg)
• Tagi Nasibov (57 kg)
• Muhammadali Gasimzade (60 kg)
• Ali Abdullayev (63.5 kg)
• Ziya Hasanov (71 kg)
• Abbasqulu Shadlinski (75 kg)
• Lala Madatova (48 kg)
• Jamila Sultanli (50 kg)
• Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg)
• Qizbas Iskandar (60 kg)
• Emili Rzayeva (63 kg)

International referee Emil Gurbanaliyev will officiate the matches, ensuring fairness throughout the tournament.

The delegation is led by Rovshan Huseynov, a member of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation's Board of Directors. Around 800 boxers from 84 countries are expected to compete in this prestigious event.
