The fight of boxers at the international University Festival in Yekaterinburg, Russia was concluded.
According to the sports.biz administration of the Federation, the Azerbaijani national team finished the competition with 1 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
In today’s final, Nijat Huseynov (54 kg) fought against Russian Roman Osipov. He won the author the title of high level champion.
Marjona Savriyeva (50 kg), Tural Sariyev (51 kg) and Farhad Sheydayev (75 kg) won silver medals in the decisive match.
Thus, the team finished the International University Sports Festival with 7 medals. Earlier, Mehpara Mammadova (48 kg), Zeynab Rahimova (54 kg) and Shamsi Shahbazov (71 kg) won the bronze prize.
