Nine Azerbaijani chess players are among the leaders in EURO

The European Chess Championship among boys and girls is held in Mamai (Romania).

According to İdman.biz, the competition is held in nine rounds in six age categories (from eight to 16 years old) according to the Swiss system. Azerbaijani chess players also participate in the EURO.

After two rounds, 100% results were achieved by Muhammad Kazimzade (U-8), Pasham Alizade (U-12), Rustam Rustamov (U-14), Khazar Babazade (U-18), Asnad Bakhshizade (U-10), Saadat Bashirli (U -12), Lala Huseynova (U-14), Narmin Abdinova (U-16), and Ayan Allahverdiyeva (U-18) showed.

It should be noted that Allahverdiyeva won a silver medal at the World Youth Championship last year.
