FIDE rating: Rajabov dropped, Beydullayeva leapt

FIDE announced the top 100 Players for April 2024.

Idman.biz reports that GM Shakhriyar Mamedyarov has the best score among the members of the Azerbaijan national team.

The 39-year-old grandmaster advanced 2 places. Mammadyarov, who has 2733 points in his assets, ranked 17th.

Teimour Radjabov dropped 3 places. He is again 28th with 2723 points.

The other Azerbaijani grandmaster Rauf Mamedov (2651) kept his position. The national member is in the 85th place.

Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (2830) leads the rating table. He is followed by USA player Fabiano Caruana (2803) and Hikaru Nakamura (2789).

Gunay Mammadzada has the best score among Azerbaijan’s female chess players. She is 34th with 2436 points. Govhar Beydullayeva (2402) who advanced 31 places is 46th.

Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2377), who fell 5 places, took the 72nd place, and Gulnar Mammadova (2352), who moved up three places, took the 99th place. Ms. Balajayeva, who returned to the "100" ranking, is 77th with 2371 points.

The list is headed by Yifan Hou (2632) from China. Wenjun Ju (China, 2559) took the second place, Alexandra Goryachkina (FIDE, 2553) took the third place.
