The President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Arkady Dvorkovich arrived in Baku.

As per Idman.biz, the head of the higher chess institution will participate in the opening ceremony of the Baku Open 2024 International Chess Festival today.

The opening ceremony of the international chess tournament, which will be attended by 328 chess players from 12 countries, will start today at 14:30. The competition is held in the Baku Sports Palace.
