At the meeting, the minister spoke about the successes of Azerbaijan's chess players. The President of FIDE noted that the state care for chess in Azerbaijan is exemplary and highly appreciated the victories of our chess players in international competitions in recent years.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Head of the Sports Department of the Ministry Elnur Mammadov and President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation Mahir Mammadov.
