FIDE announced the July ranking of chess players.

Shakhriyar Mamedyarov has the best score among the members of the Azerbaijan national team, as Idman.biz reports.

The 39-year-old grandmaster dropped 3 places. Mamedyarov, who has 2726 points in his assets, ranked 19th. Teimour Radjabov dropped 4 places. He is 34th with 2700 points.

The other grandmaster Rauf Mammadov (2652) advanced 6 steps. The national member is in the 76th place.

Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (2990) heads the rating table. He is followed by USA player Hikaru Nakamura (2802) and Fabiano Caruana (2796).

Gunay Mammadzada has the best score among our female chess players. She is 33rd with 2441 points.

Govhar Beydullayeva (2412) is 42nd, three steps down. Khanim Balajayeva, who advanced 16 places, is 47th with 2407 points. Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2399) is on the 51st place, falling 2 places. Gulnar Mammadova left the Top-100.
