The European Chess Union has revealed the prize fund for the upcoming Men’s European Chess Championship.
According to Idman.biz, the total prize fund is set at 100,000 euros. The champion will take home 20,000 euros, while the silver medalist will receive 15,000 euros, and the bronze medalist will be awarded 7,000 euros. Prizes will be distributed to the top 23 finishers, with those placing 19th to 23rd each receiving 1,000 euros.
This event will take place in Petrovac, Montenegro, from November 7 to 20, serving as a qualifying stage for the World Chess Championship.
