Azerbaijani chess player Eltac Safarli will compete in an upcoming tournament in France.
According to Idman.biz, the chess festival, which includes the Masters event, will kick off tomorrow in Annemasse.
A total of 118 players, including 16 grandmasters, will participate. The tournament will be played over nine rounds following the Swiss system.
Safarli is ranked third by rating among the participants.
