Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov, Nijat Abasov, Rauf Mammadov and Vasif Durarbayli were included in the Azerbaijan national team consisting of male chess players. Gadir Huseynov will go to the Continental Championship as a captain.
Gunay Mammadzada, Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Govhar Beydullayeva, Khanim Balajayeva and Gulnar Mammadova were invited to the national team of female chess players. The captains of the women's team will be Mikhail Shereshevsky and Evgeny Tomashevsky.
