Khazar Babazada places fourth at Mesir International Open Chess Tournament

The Mesir International Open Chess Tournament in Manisa, Turkiye has concluded, with Khazar Babazade achieving the best result among our representatives.

Babazada secured 6 points, finishing in 4th place, Idman.biz reports.

He fell half a point short of the tournament winner, Iranian Arash Tahbaz.

Other Azerbaijani chess players also competed, with Elnur Aliyev finishing 12th with 5.5 points. Vugar Rasulov ended in 26th place with 4 points.
