Dezső Novák (Hungary, in 1964 third-place game vs Denmark),
Jean-François Domergue (France, in 1984 semifinal vs Portugal).
Merih Demiral is the first Turkish player to score a brace in a Euro knockout round game and the 3rd Turkish player to do it in any Euro game, after:
Hakan Şükür vs Belgium in 2000,
