Gurban Gurbanov thanked the Qarabag’s Turkish fans.
Idman.biz reports that the 52-year-old specialist answered the question of a journalist from Turkiye at the press conference dedicated to the first game of the Europa League round of 16 against Bayer.
Gurbanov commented on the fact that Qarabag was considered the second representative in Europe in the brotherly country and became everyone's second team: "It is very nice to see you in Baku. I can only thank you. As Azerbaijanis, we have always watched Turkish football and tried to support them. And now we see the result. Because we feel the support of Turkish fans not only in Baku, but also on trips. Extra power, extra motivation. When we know that we have our brothers with us, we have nothing to avoid or fear."
It should be noted that Qarabag will host Bayer tomorrow at the Tofig Bahramov Stadium.
