The top ten cities producing the best footballers in the world have been announced.
Idman.biz reports according to Transfermarkt that London is comfortably top for cities producing footballers with an eye-watering combined total market value of €1.6 billion from 2,708 players.
Bukayo Saka is the most expensive footballer to hail from London at €130 million while Harry Kane and Declan Rice are valued at €110m.
Paris is another magnet for talent, with players born in the French capital accounting for a market worth of €688 million, more than €900 million less than London. PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé is the most valuable Parisian and the world's joint-most valuable player, worth €180 million. Brazil has produced some of the best players in history, with third-ranked São Paulo being the hometown of Roberto Carlos and Robinho. Neymar, Casemiro, and Oscar are the most well-known players still representing Brazil's most populated city.
