Galatasaray and Fenerbahce went to 11 Nisan Stadium to face each other in the 2023 Turkcell Super Cup match. The yellow-red team took the lead 1-0 with Mauro Icardi's goal in the 1st minute.
Idman.biz reports that due to Fenerbahce walked off the pitch, Galatasaray played against their own reserve team.
Fenerbahce made a statement after their withdrawal: “Today, when we get to the field not to win but to defend the truth, what we want to emphasize in order to summarize our attitude is this; “As the World's Largest Sports Club, which feels the national values of its country with its 30 million fans, we will continue to stand upright today and in the future as we did yesterday."

It should be noted that after the walking off from the pitch the players of Fenerbahce also supported their club by posting on social media and saying “So glad to be at Fenerbahce”.
