A new appointment has been in the coaching staff of Gabala.

Amil Aghajanov will be the goalkeeping coach of the Red Blacks. A 3-year contract was signed with the 41-year-old specialist.
During his football career, Aghajanov played at Goyazan (2004-05), Shuvelan (2005-06, 2011-13, 2015-16), Turan (2006-07), Baku (2007), Masalli (2007-08), MOIK (2008), Standard (2008-09), Mugan (2009-11), Simurg (2013-15) and Zagatala (2016-18) clubs. In 2004-05, he wore the uniform of the U-21 team of Azerbaijan.
After finishing his career, the former goalkeeper, who started working in the Nakhchivan Football Federation, also worked in Araz-Nakhchivan. He was the goalkeeper coach of the club. Before his appointment to Gabala, the specialist was on the coaching staff of the U-18 team of Azerbaijan.
Aghajanov worked as one of the local instructors leading UEFA courses for goalkeeper coaches.
