Scaloni was suspended for one match for being late to the second half during the second round match against Chile. Because of this, the head coach will miss the match against Peru.
Scaloni must also pay a $15,000 fine. Chile head coach Ricardo Gareca also returned late after the break in that match. He received the same punishment as the rival coach.
Argentina won against Chile with a score of 1:0.
