"I am very happy to move to Sumgayit."
Sumgayit’s Brazilian midfielder Fernando Medeiros gave a statement to Idman.biz.
The 28-year-old football player evaluated his transfer to the Azerbaijani club. He said that he believes that the team will be adapted soon: " Vusal was the first person I called to find out about the club and his feedback really pleased me. I'm feeling very good, I was very well received by everyone, the president and 2 other people speak my language, this helped me a lot at the beginning here at the club."
Medeiros also touched on his goals for the upcoming game against Fehervar in the Conference League: " The coach can say this, what I can say and guarantee is that we are going beyond the limits in every training session and this is giving us more strength and confidence to successfully execute what the coach is asking of us."
Medeiros, a student of Brazilian club Santos, signed a 2+1-year contract with Sumgayit. Fernando spent the last season in Egnatia (Albania). He will play at Sumgayit as number 11.
