A new appointment has been made in Neftchi.
According to the information provided to Idman.biz by club’s press service, Rustam Afsarli has been appointed as the media coordinator of Neftchi.
Afsarli, who has been working in the sports press since 2005, has been working on the CBC Sport channel since 2015. During this period, he was the creator and participant of various projects, he led the group of commentators on the TV channel and worked as a program director.
He has worked as a commentator, presenter, and producer in both national and international sports competitions and won the "Best Commentator of the Year" award in 2018 and 2020. Afsarli, who has been a Neftchi fan since childhood and does not hide it in his interviews, has worked in the club before. He was the head of the press service of White Blacks.
