In a statement to the press service of the club, the 44-year-old specialist evaluated the training process in Erzurum, Turkiye: "Physical training is performed during the morning training, and tactical-technical training is performed during the evening training. Everyone understands that we have to work harder today to be successful in the championship."
The head coach also spoke about Benny and Felipe Santos, who joined the team's camp in Turkiye: "Both players receive physical loads like other players. Their condition is satisfactory. After a few days, they will join the collective training. We believe that they will be useful to Azerbaijan team."
The expert clarified whether there was a player who was sidelined due to injury or for some reason: "Ramin Nasirli could not join us due to injury. He was injured in the test match we played in Baku. Therefore, he did not come to Erzurum with the team. The rest of the players are training with full strength."
Araz-Nakhchivan will play a test match against Alanyaspor on July 16 as part of the preparation. The match will start at 18:00 Baku time. After that, the team, which will test its strength in 2 more matches, will return to Baku on July 25.
