Gareth Southgate has resigned as England manager following their Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain.
Per Idman.biz, this was announced by the English Football Association (FA).
The 53-year-old specialist left the team of his own accord. Southgate, who has led the English national team since September 2016, has led the team to the semi-finals of the world championships twice (2018, 2022), and to the finals of the European championships twice (2020, 2024).
The final match of EURO-2024 with Spain (1:2) was the last game of the specialist in the national team.
