The 2023/2024 season has been concluded in the AFFA U16 League.
As per Idman.biz, the match for the third place was held in Neftchi Football Center, and the final match was held in ASCO Arena.
In the match for the bronze prize, the Zira team won 2:1 against Sabah and finished the competition in third place.
Neftchi and Qarabag teams met in the final match. Neftchi, which defeated its opponent with a score of 2:1, became the champion. Qarabag won silver medals.
After the games, the winners of the first three places were awarded with medals and diplomas. The winners of individual nominations were also announced. Neftchi striker Elnur Abdullayev, who scored 56 goals during the season, won the award given to the most productive player. Qarabag player Ali Gazibeyov was chosen as the best player of the season.
The awards were presented by AFFA Technical Director Jahangir Hasanzade, AFFA Head of Children and Youth Competitions Organization Department Yusif Valiyev, and AFFA Head of Mass Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov.
