As Idman.biz reports, Maccabi head coach Barak Bakhar said this.
The Israeli specialist commented on the 0:3 defeat to Sabah in the Conference League second qualifying round. He said that it is not good to lose the first game: "We were not brave and accurate enough in the attack. We started the game well. We were in control of the match and often worried the opponent by pressing. But later we lost the initiative. Although we know that Sabah is a fast and dangerous team, we had a hard time keeping our goal intact. The first test was unsuccessful, but this is the first game in Europe."
Bakhar announced his expectations from the return match: "We must try to pull ourselves up. We have to rematch. We believe that everything is possible in football. But it is not easy. I believe in this team, this staff. The first match was disappointing, but I want you to wait for the second match. There is one more game and we believe that anything is possible. After the return match, we will accept everything as it is."
The return match between the teams will be held in Baku on August 1.
