Shahin Diniyev: "The level of our internationals is neither great nor very bad"

"The summer training was at the best level I could have wished for. The players took responsibility for the matches."

Sabail head coach Shahin Diniyev told Idman.biz this.

The experienced specialist evaluated the team's preparation and the level of the newly joined internationals: "It takes time for the team to form well. We laid the foundation of physical, functional and athletic training in Turkey. I think we achieved that. After that, we will make tactical preparations for the championship game. The level of the foreign players who have just joined us is neither great nor too bad. It is average. They are the players who play in our system. We have chosen ourselves. They will help "Sabail" and we will help their careers. After that, there will be no transfer."

Diniyev also touched on the match they will play against "Zira" in the first round of the Azerbaijan Premier League: "David Gomis, who was injured last season, continues training. But he is not 100 percent ready. He can play maybe 20-30 minutes. Each of the remaining players is fully ready for the upcoming match. Zira is in form as a team. Sabail, which I don't consider fully prepared, will appear against the in-form, stable Zira, which is not stable. But that doesn't mean they will win. It will be an interesting match."

The Zira - Sabail match will be held on August 4 at 20:00.
